The Skinny Lemonade Cocktail

This week, as you may have heard on #NoFilter... I've gained 8 pounds. EIGHT. Slightly mortified, I am determined to lose it and have entered in a 30 day challenge to bring down my body fat percentage. Since I still enjoy a drink on occasion (and have a new featured drink on #NoFilter each week), I have decided to modify my drinks into "skinny" versions, with less sugar and less calories, but keep all the fun (aka the alcohol).


This week's drink is definitely one of my new favorites! A spin on the traditional Master Cleanse cayenne lemonade, I took Pressed Juicery's Lemon Cayenne h2o, mixed it with some Blue Ice vodka and some soda water and tada: this week's Skinny Lemonade! #DrinkBetter


The Skinny Lemonade: For the Conscious Drinking Looking to Lose a Couple Pounds

  • 1 part soda water
  • 2 parts Pressed Juicery Lemon Cayenne h2o
  • 1.5 oz Blue Ice Organic Vodka
  • Ice
  • Optional: Pinch of Pure Stevia Leaf Extract



1. Pour soda in a glass with ice.

2. Add in Blue Ice and PJ Lemon Cayenne h2o and stir

3. Optional: Add in some pure stevia leaf extract to sweet it a bit (make sure it's pure stevia; some brands will add a little sugar to trick you!)

Garnish with a lemon wedge


Why It’s Better:

  • Sweetened naturally, with no added sugar
  • Less than 125 calories per drink
  • Uses only clear liquor (stay away from the dark the stuff!)
  • The lemon and cayenne give your metabolism a nice boost
  • Soda water fills you up, making you fuller quicker and less likely to drink more
